Why Verdanta

The Verdanta Difference

Nursing Around the Clock

Qualified nursing staff are on-site at all hours — not just during business hours. Families find peace of mind knowing a caring professional is always present.

Individual Care Planning

No two residents share the same needs. Every care plan is developed in consultation with the resident and their family, and revisited as circumstances change.

Meaningful Daily Life

Gardening, music, creative activities, and communal meals are woven into each week — offering rhythm, connection, and small moments of joy.

Chef-Prepared Nutrition

Meals are thoughtfully prepared and adapted to dietary and medical needs. Eating together at table remains a valued part of daily life at Verdanta.

Family Communication

Families are kept informed and involved. We welcome visits, provide regular updates, and view family relationships as central to a resident's wellbeing.

Cultural Sensitivity

Verdanta serves both Thai and international families. Cultural preferences, religious observances, and personal traditions are honoured with care and respect.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

How do I know if residential care is the right step for my family member?

This is a deeply personal decision that families often approach with mixed feelings. Our Family Transition Support service is specifically designed to help — we offer guided assessments, honest conversations, and facility visits so you can form your own view without feeling hurried or pressured. There is no single right moment; our role is to help you understand what's available and what might genuinely serve your loved one.

What does a typical day look like for residents?

Days at Verdanta have a gentle structure: shared meals in the dining area, optional group activities such as gardening, music, and art, and quiet personal time. Residents who prefer more solitude are accommodated warmly — the schedule is a guide, not a requirement. Nursing staff are present throughout to assist with personal care, medication, and any needs that arise.

Can family members visit whenever they like?

Family involvement is something we actively encourage. Visits are welcomed during daytime hours, and we have private spaces for family gatherings. For residents in the Palliative Comfort Program, we offer extended visiting flexibility so that family can be close during sensitive periods.

Are the monthly fees inclusive, or are there additional costs?

Our published monthly fees for Comprehensive Residential Care (฿52,000) and the Palliative Comfort Program (฿62,000) cover accommodation, meals, regular nursing care, and in-house activities. External specialist consultations or hospital transport may be charged separately depending on individual needs. We discuss all costs openly before any commitment is made.

Do you accommodate cultural and dietary preferences?

Yes. Verdanta serves both Thai and international residents, and we work hard to understand and accommodate individual cultural backgrounds, religious observances, and dietary requirements. This is discussed in detail during the initial care planning process so that preferences are documented and respected consistently.

What qualifications do your nursing staff hold?

All nursing staff at Verdanta hold Thai nursing licences and have experience in elder care settings. Our clinical team is supported by visiting physicians who attend on-site on a regular schedule. We maintain comprehensive staff training in areas including dementia care, palliative support, and safe medication management.
